Hi, I'm Gary — founder of RacketRise and a padel player based in the UK.

I started RacketRise because when I first wanted to try padel, I couldn't find a simple answer to a simple question: where are the courts near me? The information was scattered across venue websites, booking platforms, and social media posts. There was no single place that listed UK padel and pickleball courts with actual addresses, maps, and honest information.

So I built one.

What RacketRise Does

RacketRise is an independent resource for UK padel and pickleball players. We do three things:

• Court Finder — a searchable database of 300+ verified padel and pickleball venues across the UK, with interactive maps, postcode search, and filtering by sport type and indoor/outdoor facilities.
• Guides & Reviews — honest, detailed articles covering everything from "What is padel?" to in-depth gear reviews. We test and research equipment so you don't have to waste money on the wrong racket.
• UK Focus — everything we write is specifically for UK players. UK prices, UK retailers, UK weather considerations, UK court availability. Not repackaged American or Spanish content.

Our Approach

Padel and pickleball are the fastest-growing sports in the UK. Over 400,000 people played padel in 2024 — triple the number from the year before. Pickleball is growing even faster in some regions. But the information available to new players is often poor: outdated venue listings, gear reviews written for the Spanish or American market, and beginner guides that assume you already know what you're doing.

RacketRise exists to fix that. Every article is written from a UK perspective, every court listing is verified, and every gear recommendation comes with honest pros and cons — including when the budget option is genuinely better than the expensive one.

How We Make Money

Transparency matters. RacketRise earns revenue through affiliate links in our gear review articles. When you click a "Check price on Amazon" link and make a purchase, we earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. This is clearly disclosed at the top of every article that contains affiliate links.

Affiliate relationships never influence our recommendations. We regularly recommend Decathlon products that earn us nothing because they're genuinely the best value for beginners. Our credibility depends on honest advice — and we take that seriously.
